POSITION OVERVIEW
Residential Assistant Supervisor -
Albany residential has an immediate need for a full-time ResidentialAssistant Supervisor. This position is responsible for supervising direct care staff as well as working as part of the direct care team who collectively provide daily therapeutic care and programming according to agency policy and regulation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervising program activity as related to client treatment plans
- Supervision and evaluation of direct care staff
- Working as part of staff-to-youth ratio and on-call system, mentoring and training staff
- Assisting in crisis intervention as needs
- Other administrative tasks related to running the unit
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Requires an Associate’s degree plus 3 years of experience, Bachelor’s degree preferred, OR high school plus at least 5 years of experience
- Related experience with vulnerable populations/older adolescent population is required
- Must have supervisory experience or demonstrated ability to manage a residential unit
- Must have valid, clean driver’s license
- Ability to work variable shifts required including evenings, weekends and holidays

Job Summary | The Director, Student Activities develops and directs comprehensive student involvement and activities programs that inspire school spirit, amplify the RPI student experience, and support the unique student-staff partnership that characterizes the operation of the Rensselaer Union. Per Diem Clinician/Social Worker - Mobile Crisis
Location: Schenectady, NY or Queensbury, NY
Day, Evening, and Weekend Shifts available
As a Clinician for Mobile Crisis, you will provide crisis risk assessments with a diagnosis (with appropriate supervisory approval, per scope of practice), crisis stabilization and interventions, de-escalation techniques and follow-up services to the identified client experiencing emotional, behavioral, and psychiatric crises. These interventions, provided by telephone and on-site mobile visits, will be implemented using a strength-based, trauma-informed, systems-oriented perspective and will include the development of crisis prevention and safety plans; follow-up to evaluate the effectiveness of plans; coordination of services with existing treatment providers; and linkage to additional community-based therapeutic resources and supports. You will directly report to the Clinical Site Supervisors with Director and Executive Program Director guidance and support. You will work on-site with travel to the community and individuals' homes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide rapid response to adults, children, adolescents, and families, who are in crisis, experiencing an emotional or behavioral disturbance by phone and on-site within the community, and as assigned, participate in acute care emergency services rotation system designed to facilitate and strengthen community-based crisis intervention services. This includes rotation of schedule to provide coverage during holidays and weekends.
- Conduct risk assessments with a diagnosis (with appropriate supervisory approval, per scope of practice), mental status examinations, and substance abuse screening.
- Analyze information to identify action plan, which includes crisis stabilization plan, safety, and crisis prevention plans, and plan for follow-up. Consult with team and supervisors.
- Coordinate with community resources for collateral input and follow-up care, including referrals for mental health treatment and substance abuse assessment and treatment.
- Provide short-term crisis intervention and stabilization services to adults, children, adolescents, and their families in the home or community (wherever the individual is experiencing a crisis).
Requirements and Education:
- Looking for applicants with their LMSW, LMHC, LCSW, LCSW-R licensure
- Requires a Masters' degree (MSW/MHC) and two years of related experience
- Must have a valid NYS Drivers License and be willing and able to drive to clients' homes and communities under a variety of circumstances and weather conditions. Must be willing to work in many settings, including clients' homes and other community locations where there may be pets, cigarette smoke, etc.

Clinical Site Supervisor, Mobile Crisis
Licensed Social Workers are eligible for a $7500 signing bonus!
Relocation package available within New York State
As a Mobile Clinical Site Supervisor, you will oversee daily management and oversight of all staff to ensure management of the crisis line and onsite response to all 6 counties is coordinated. You will report to the Director of Crisis Services and you will work on-site.
Responsibilities:
- Provide daily management and oversight to staff including:
- Manage the crisis line.
- Monitor triages to ensure appropriate call management response.
- Assist with coordinating team response based on staffing per call.
- Maintain knowledge of the schedule for team response.
- Monitor Teams Chat and provide supervision/coordination.
- Interview, hire, and coordinate the onboarding of new staff with the Director.
- Oversee the training of new staff according to each discipline.
- Provide daily clinical supervision for staff by observing and coaching management of crisis calls. Regular individual supervision.
- Collaborate with the Director around concerns or program needs.
- Work with program coordinators and case managers on file maintenance, billing, referrals, and response to clients' needs.
- Participate in debriefs for critical incidents and review information to determine opportunities for staff development.
- Collaborate with the Director on creating team-building opportunities and develop staff to provide cohesive direct care in a team atmosphere.
- Act as a liaison to community partners to support program service.
- Maintain knowledge of Human Resources policies and procedures.
- Participate in advanced trainings to the position.
- Complete Performance Evaluations yearly of supervisees.
- Monitor all Documentation of staff as oversite to ensure quality documentation.
- Enhance collaborative teamwork between all staff.
- Cross shifts with evening hours expected to provide support to both shifts across the hours of 7-11pm for Mobile Crisis Services; evening hour coverage responsibility shared with another site supervisor.
Requirements and Education:
- MSW/MHC required
- 3 - 4 year's experience
- LCSW required; may consider LMHC
- Valid NYS Driver's License

Job Summary | The Program Administrator, Sr manages activities of the Center of Excellence in Digital Game Development at RPI, also known as the Digital Gaming Hub, administered through the Games and Simulation Arts and Sciences Program in the School of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences. Job Summary | The Director of Real Estate directs all activities associated with land management/leases; real estate revenue activities; building and land acquisition/sales; building and land appraisals; all Rensselaer property-related tax payments; Rensselaer tax exemption requirements; and special activities, that include leases and subleases of external facilities, fraternity/sorority land/building leases and finances; estate activities and community issues. The Director is responsible for leading real estate and economic development programs to attract diverse and innovative partners to engage on properties owned by the Institution both residential and commercial, inclusive of properties at Rensselaer Technology Park (RTP). This will comprise extensive collaboration with multiple portfolios including the Office of Strategic Alliances and Translation (OSAT), Provost, Student Life, OCEC, and Finance. The Director is responsible to develop programs to attract and maintain tenant occupants of RTP and create a self-funded real estate program. Programs that cultivate community and regional relationships and foster an exchange of ideas between community leaders, industry partners, researchers and students. The Director is responsible for all fiscal management of the RTP and real estate program including operating and capital budget development and financial controls to achieve goals. |
